Chiropractic Care
Chiropractic restores and maintains the healthy function of the spine. It achieves this by correcting the alignment and restoring normal range of motion with the Chiropractic adjustment.

Chiropractic is a science, philosophy, and an art. It is based on the scientific fact that the nervous system controls and co-ordinates every function of every tissue and organ, as well as adapting ourselves to the environment around us. The art of chiropractic is the skill in locating and correcting vertebral subluxations — also referred to as a misalignment — with a chiropractic adjustment, and knowing when or when not to apply an adjustment.
The spinal column protects the spinal cord and spinal nerves, but if the vertebrae lose their normal alignment and motion due to trauma, poor posture, or habits, the delicate nerve tissue may become irritated. This is called a vertebral subluxation, which can cause dysfunction in the body and can lead to many health problems.

The chiropractic philosophy states that the body has the innate ability to heal itself and that there is an innate intelligence residing within us that is always striving towards normal balanced function. It knows how to mend a bone or heal a cut, when to speed up heart rate or slow down digestion. Our bodies are always at work. This intelligence is expressed through the nervous system, with every tissue, cell, and organ communicating with the brain through the nervous system. The objective of chiropractic is to maintain this communication system as best as possible by maintaining healthy function of the spine.
