Maintenance is Key to Healthy Living
Once your body has fully healed, routine chiropractic care can help ensure that your physical problems do not return, and keep your body in optimal condition. Just like continuing an exercise program and eating well in order to sustain the benefits of exercise and proper diet, it is necessary to continue chiropractic care to ensure the health of your musculoskeletal system.
When you make routine chiropractic care a part of your lifestyle, you avoid many of the aches and pains that so many people suffer through, your joints will last longer and you will be able to engage in more of the activities you love.
It has been shown to me time and time again in my 12 years of practice that the one area of the spine that has the greatest impact on our overall health is at the top of the neck. I am continually amazed at how much of an impact a subluxation in this area has on us. I've been researching case studies recently on this and have seen the connection between upper cervical subluxation and the following conditions: recurrent ear infections and sinus infections, asthma and allergies, common and migraine headaches, digestive and bowel problems, high blood pressure, shoulder and arm problems, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, epilepsy and of course back pain.
How many people in our community have conditions such as these and have never had their spines checked for subluxation? How many people are caught up in a cycle of treating the symptoms of these conditions with drugs and yet are never addressing the cause? How many people are dying younger then they should be because of this?
Lets get out and teach people that they have been blessed with an innate ability to heal. Let people know that chiropractic may be able to help them, not because we treat these conditions, but because if we remove the interference then the body naturally heals. Remember, you never know how far reaching something you think, say or do today could affect the lives of millions tomorrow.
